Staying fit and healthy doesn’t need a special workout or regime, you can maintain your wellbeing by maintaining simple but healthy habits daily. By integrating some routine activities into your already busy life, here are a few things that should be daily healthy habits so that you can remain hale and hearty:
Sleep. You should always get at least 8 hours of fitful sleep every night. Your children will probably need between 8 to 10 hours. By getting the right amount of rest your body re-energizes and heals itself so that we can do productive work and activities the following day.
Breakfast. This is probably the most important meal of the day for you to keep energized so eat breakfast like a king! Make sure you get a balanced diet of fruits, dairy, protein and carbohydrates to help you keep on your toes at least until lunchtime.
Exercise. Getting as little as 30 minutes of light exercise daily will suffice for anyone who is too busy to take on a one or two hour workout regime. By doing stretches, taking a brisk walk, or a quick jog or bike around the park you will be getting the physical activity that your body needs to function better.
Sunscreen. Many people think that the more sun exposure they get, the healthier they will be. This is true up to a certain point, but having too much sun exposure will ruin your skin and make you look older. Make sure you always apply sunscreen to your skin whenever you leave the house, especially if you will be outdoors for most of the day.
Teeth. People tend to skip this subject, but dental hygiene should be primary on your list. Maybe you hate going to the dentist, but the more regular your appointments to maintain your teeth, the lesser the chance you will need to go to remove a bad tooth. Floss daily and brush at least 3 times a day to keep gums healthy and teeth bacteria-free.
Water. Make sure you get lots of water in your system daily to keep you hydrated and cool. Get the minimum of 1.8 liters of water (8 x 8 oz. glasses) daily to keep you hydrated.
