<p>When we do activities that enhance or maintain our physical fitness and body health, then we are doing exercises. Aside from enhancing physical fitness, exercise plays a major role in maintaining a healthy weight, ensuring proper bone density and muscular strength, flexibility and overall feelings of well being. Someone who is physically fit is less prone to injuries and is able to accomplish more home and office work without feeling fatigued at the end of the day.</p>
<p>There are three major exercise categories. One is called flexibility exercises such as stretching and they help a lot in maintaining proper joint motion as well as muscular flex. Aerobic exercises include activities such as running, swimming and biking. They contain a high amount of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients with relatively fewer calories. There are three grades of food depending on levels of nutrient density. First class foods are vegetables including beans and other legumes, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds, and whole grain foods. We should strive to eat more kinds of these foods every day. Specific examples of first class food include brightly colored fruits and fruit juices, rich green vegetables, and whole grain foods rich in fiber. By integrating some routine activities into your already busy life, here are a few things that should be daily healthy habits so that you can remain hale and hearty:</p>
<p>Sleep. You should always get at least 8 hours of fitful sleep every night. Your children will probably need between 8 to 10 hours. By getting the right amount of rest your body re-energizes and heals itself so that we can do productive work and activities the following day.</p>
<p>Breakfast. This is probably the most important meal of the day for you to keep energized so eat breakfast like a king! Make sure you get a balanced diet of fruits, dairy, protein and carbohydrates to help you keep on your toes at least until lunchtime.</p>
<p>Exercise. Getting as little as 30 minutes of light exercise daily will suffice for anyone who is too busy to take on a one or two hour workout regime. By doing stretches, taking a brisk walk, or a quick jog or bike around the park you will be getting the physical activity that your body needs to function better.</p>
<p>Sunscreen. Many people think that the more sun exposure they get, the healthier they will be. This is true up to a certain point, but having too much sun exposure will ruin your skin and make you look older. Make sure you always apply sunscreen to your skin whenever you leave the house, especially if you will be outdoors for most of the day.</p>
<p>Teeth. People tend to skip this subject, but dental hygiene should be primary on your list. Maybe you hate going to the dentist, but the more regular your appointments to maintain your teeth, the lesser the chance you will need to go to remove a bad tooth. Floss daily and brush at least 3 times a day to keep gums healthy and teeth bacteria-free.</p>
<p>Water. Make sure you get lots of water in your system daily to keep you hydrated and cool. Get the minimum of 1.8 liters of water (8 x 8 oz. glasses) daily to keep you hydrated.</p>
<p>With these simple yet healthy habits to practice every day, you can live a lifestyle of wellbeing and fitness. You will find that your body will benefit from these good habits by boosting your immune system, improving your outlook, increasing your confidence, and giving you a vigorous and healthy glow.</p>
